Great view over the estuary and plenty of seats in the garden to sit out. Very clean and plenty of storage space, and two comfortable chairs in room we stayed in. Breakfast very good and freshly cooked. Not too far out of St Andrews. We had a very good evening meal at the Guardmans Inn just down the road.

A group of girlfriends and I stayed here for two days as we toured St. Andrews. Douglas and Yvonne are wonderful hosts making sure you left fed and ready to explore St. Andrews! The portions for breakfast were huge and their hospitality warm and kind. We secured two rooms with twin beds in each. The rooms were decent sized...although the...

This is a very clean, convenient good value B&B on the outskirts of St Andrews. We were a group of 6 and were able to get around the area by taxi from here with no delays. Breakfast was really tasty and the service was exemplary

We stayed here as a family of four and the layout is perfect with two ensuite rooms sharing a front door. Much better than four in a room as offered by most hotels. The rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped with tea/coffee making items and big fluffy towels. Lots of hot water and great views. Best of all is...

Lovely location backing on to the river estuary. We had a great room with dual aspect views. Douglas & Yvonne couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We had trouble with the ensuite shower, we spoke to Douglas who came straight away to look at the problem, saying he would sort it while we were out....

Booked a double room for my parents to stay during graduation weekend - and was really pleased with how close the place was to St Andrews, and the price of the rooms. My parents had a wonderful time and had terrific things to report about Douglas & Yvonne, who were very helpful and hospitable, and gave them a really nice...

An excellent place just on the edge of St Andrews with a fab view of the river. A great night's sleep and a proper freshly cooked breakfast. Dougie and Evi know the area really well and will recommend the best places to eat and drink in town.

Having picked a particularly busy w/end to visit St Andrews, could not get in anywhere else, not looking forward to a B&B stay, I was pleasantly surprised. Room very comfortable & clean, big fluffy towels and a very comfy bed. On the direct main bus route to town about a 10min trip. The breakfast is not for the light hearted!...

We spent one night at the Edenside House in September 2014 and really enjoyed it. It is a few minutes drive away from St. Andrews town, (the bus stops a few meters away too), it is clean and warm, the breakfast is delicious and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
