I don't know what makes this a luxury hotel. Perhaps it is because there is a mini-bar in the room. We stayed here for one night on our ten day tour of Scotland (September 26, 2016). We stayed in mid-range hotels that were just as nice. The room was of a good size and clean. The hotel staff were friendly...

The staff were absolutely fantastic, making us feel so welcome and the food innotive and delicious.

The room was good but facing the car park and anyone walking in the car park could see us. The bathroom was ideal for disabled people but the loo was too high and the basin too low for the rest of us and the light switch was round the corner from the bathroom. Breakfast was excelllent, but the music was...

Had a lovely roast lunch here. 4 courses for £23 I thought was a very reasonable cost and the food we received was well worth the money.only moan was the amount of time between course and the children got a bit restless.i would eat here again definitely

Stayed in the "caddy room". Was tiny but was warned about this so no issue! Fantastic location. Everything within walking distance. Such a great deal and spent so little time in room that the extreme lack of space didn't matter. Was grateful for the in-room fan though as it was very warm!
