This establishment is well located with a carpark across the road. The building has character. We found this accomodation by chance as the owner was in the Tourist Office asking them to put her business cards out. However she appeared not to be a member of the Tourist office as they refused put her cards out. (Just an interesting observation.)...

We had a hard time locating West Park House even with our GPS. Room was very small with poor lighting and we couldn't get the tv to work. Spoke to owner about lighting issue and her comment was "we are aware the light bulbs are out". For the amount paid you would think they would replace the bulbs! No breakfast...

We got the cheapest option, which meant sharing a bathroom on another floor which was ok, even if a little annoying. But we had the cheapest option after all. There were missing batteries from the remote which meant we couldn't use the TV. Positive points, this is super central, staff is friendly, and apparently as cheap as possible in St....

Recent press articles has indicated that St Andrews is now the most expensive place in Britain for hotel stays including London. The American influence has made the hotels and restaurants to push up their prices. This B & B ( sorry only B as they don`t do breakfast ) cost £90 for a fairly small twin room with a small...

Perfect location - very close to St Andrews Old Course (walking distance) as well as various trendy restaurants and pubs. The room was very comfortable, cozy and spacious. The shared living room was very comfortable and nicely decorated with TV. I will definitely stay at West Park House when I return to St Andrews in the future.

One-night visit to St Andrews - a warm welcome from Debbie, really nice room with modern ensuite. Fantastic location on Market St opposite the Student Union but no noise from the street. Large bed, large room. I would definitely recommend this house hotel for any stay in St Andrews and I will be using it again for future trips.

Unfortunately, we only were able to stay one night. Just a short ride from the train station (about 14 pounds), West Park House is perfectly located (within walking distance to the "Old Course". The rooms were so very cozy and welcoming; I slept like a baby during our stay. There are only two rooms on the top floor (3rd floor)...

At first we were concerned that this was a B&B without the second B, and it took the owners a while to respond to emails. Once we actually got there and met the owners, all of our concerns were allayed. The owners are a lovely, friendly couple. They were very quick to offer recommendations to help us make the most...

St Andrews town is not very big and consists of three main streets. The West Park is ideally situated in the middle street. The town centre is very compact and it's easy to wander around the shops, bars and restaurants. The owner of the hotel was very welcoming and talked us through the wifi code and showed us our room,...

Just returned from a very comfortable weekend at this lovely guest house. I was staying with my nephew who was keen to keep the costs down sharing a twin room. I did have some reservations beforehand about having no en suite & no breakfast available but these were dispelled by the warm welcome by Debbie to a very comfortable, bright...
