Was here for 4 nights recently. The hosts were amzing and couldnt be more helpful for my first time staying in St Andrews. As a young lad being away for work for the first time i thought id feel really awkward but after being 'told off' for not using the wardrobe it was almost like feeling being back home 😁...

My husband and I stayed at Braeside for one night in mid-July, while visiting St Andrews. Margaret and James were lovely hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. I'm only sorry that we couldn't stay longer! (We had to leave to catch our train before the normal breakfast was served, so Margaret set some fruits, juice, toast for us the night before.)...

Thank You for the excellent review. So sorry your stay was so short and you were were unable to sample our breakfast fare. Perhaps we may have the pleasure of your company again and the visit will be a bit longer.

James and Margret were lovely hosts, I'd never been to St. Andrews before and so they helped me navigate the town with maps and other info. The room was clean and comfortable and very cosy! In the morning my breakfast was given to me almost as soon as I sat down and what great food! It really set me up...

James and Margaret are wonderful hosts. the b&b is extremely comfortable and clean. the food was excellent and cooked to order. they have a wealth of knowledge of the area and were spot on with local recommendations and setting up our golf tee times. we were treated as family and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this b&b.

Thank you for the lovely compliments. It was an absolute pleasure to have you gentlemen staying itch us. You were delightful guests and we shared your joy in obtaining a tee time in the Old Course ballot and being invited into the R&A clubhouse. Haste ye back

The room was nice and spacious enough with an en-suite bathroom. The location of the B & B is just about 10 minutes walking distance of the town centre. The hospitality of James & Margaret is fabulous, they will do anything to make you feel at home! They serve a great breakfast. Only disturbing thing was the outside noise at...

We spent 5 days here just after the Open -- we were not quite IN the town but an easy walk to the Old Course, where we went for the final day. The rooms are comfy and complete. The owners James and Margaret delightful. the breakfast that comes with is delicious. My only comment is that two of the rooms...

We enjoyed the hospitality of James and Margaret for 5 nights earlier this week. They are charming hosts and run a spotlessly clean and tidy b & b where we were very comfortable and relaxed. Breakfasts are to a good standard and are prepared to order for each guest. Access to the upstairs bedrooms is up quite steep stairs, so...

Best stay of 10 days in Scotland. Beds, bath, and breakfasts superb. Margaret & James shared expertise and opinions in lively conversations. Interesting fellow guests at breakfast. Convenient to downtown, bus station, golf. Highly recommended by seasoned travelers who would have like to stay longer with the Yules. A CLASSY above trendy or quaint hotel.
