We decided to call in here for lunch. We both chose the breaded fish and chips having noticed the large sign in the car park displaying that they served the best fish and chips this side of Anstruther! The bar area was clean and the service was prompt and accurate. Unfortunately, the meal was rather poor. The presentation looked lovely...

My partner & I were here for the Steak Night offer. 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £36. Great value for money considering the steaks (very high quality) are £28 each on "normal" menu. We both had the fillet steak and it was absolutely to die for. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Was cooked just...

Have not actually stayed in the hotel, have only eaten in the restaurant - and it was excellent. The lunch menu isn't large but the portions were delicious and very generous leaving no room for a pudding! The price can't be beat. Lovely place to bring visitors from out of town or your parents. Our waitress was very friendly and...

We visited for 2 nights early February. The room was nice but the bed was a tad hard for me. The bar was pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful. However breakfast was a buffet and the food was only warm, not hot. The only eggs on show were scrambled and cooked to death. There was no indication that you...

We recently went to an Abba tribute night here and it was excellent. The staff were very attentive and courteous. We were served a meal (2choice of main course and 2 sweet choices) which was very good and quickly served. The entertainment was really good and everyone was up dancing right from the beginning. Would recommend anyone to attend one...

My wife and daughter and friends attended one of your Christmas parties with their children. It was called The Joliy Jigglers . The buffet provided was very disappointing at best and awful at worst . Their seem to be no organisation , and my wife left before it even finished . Since my wife has ensured you on two occasions...

We went for the Steak and Wine deal on Friday night. Really good food, sirloin steak was cooked to my liking (medium), wine was ok (not the best) but great value for money at £36 total. Excellent service. After dinner, we went through to the bar (very well stocked) for a nightcap. Great selection of malt whiskies, finished the night off...

We stayed here for one night after a wedding held in the hotel. The food was very good! Could not fault it. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The rooms were a good size with a modern bathroom, which could have been slightly cleaner. The towels we had could do with replacing as they were frayed along the edges....
