I attended a wedding here, during the ceremony you could here the kitchen staff clattering about & talking which was rude! The bar ran out of ice on several occasions & fruit shoots with no alternative for kids. Then there's the toilets......you would be cleaner digging a hole outside! We turned up at 2 o'clock & the same cubicle had...

Having passed this hotel 100's of times never thought about eating here as the front of hotel isn't very inviting. How wrong was I! Our neighbours had just come back from having a high tea at the Royal so after having a busy Sunday we decided to go for tea. On a Sunday they serve the high tea in the...

I happened to spend a night in this hotel since I couldn't find anything affordable in Edinburgh due to the New Year's Eve celebrations. It was a real nightmare: smelly hall, dump walls in the room, a big spider on the ceiling, dirty everywhere. Horrible and quite expensive place. Please don't ever go there.

hi sorry you could only afford our hotel and not edinburgh. I know you wasnt happy with the prices of taxis to the airport and didnt want to stay with us . The other hotel guests with children was shocked and complained about yourself coming down into the lounge bar asking about tap water in the state of undress.

We have been for a meal three times and it was always fantastic. I especially recommend the high tea - it was amazing! The prices are exceptionally good value and the service is very good. Food is absolutely delicious and there is a fantastic variety.

We went for a high tea.The food was really good. The food arrived quite promptly. My only dislike was the interior of the place. It is very dated and needs upgraded. Also there is far too much clutter in the restaurant on the windowsills etc which makes the place look untidy and cluttered. Also i think with all the clutter...

We stopped off for a drink while walking about the picturesque village of Dysart as we noticed that the hotel had been given a fresh coat of paint outside. Venturing in we saw that the inside had been remodelled also and looked quite nice. I ordered a pint of Belhaven and found it tasted bad so mentioned it to the...
