We had a great stay at this B&B. The room was large, the en-suite was small, but state-of-the-art. The owners were very friendly and helpful. And, last but not least, we had a very good breakfast. Nothing left to we wished for.

If you are visiting Edinburgh or surrounding area make sure you book a place at this B&B because you'll never top it. The first few steps into the garden are a foretaste of what's to come. The garden is wonderful, clearly the work of a keen gardener but with a whimsical touch to appeal to those who wouldn't be captivated... More

Booked here for a few nights for convenience before catching a cruise from Rosyth port. What a great pleasant surprise. Our upstairs room was large, airy & comfortable. Liz & Jim were very welcoming hosts and anxious to assist us in any way. Breakfasts had lots of variety & choice. A few minutes walk from several restaurants with a pleasant... More

We have spent 3 weeks traveling in Scotland and staying in B&Bs. Most have been wonderful, and the Pitreavie House is in the top of our list of greats. Such friendly and welcoming hosts! The room was very comfortable, with many amenities, and it was spotless. The breakfast was piping hot and excellent, plus it was nice to have a... More

I stayed here a few years ago and it is simply the most wonderful place with lovely owners. Great location for Knockhill Circuit. I haven't managed to get back since but will certainly return. The rooms are not massive but it's very comfortable.

A beautiful guest house with fantastic amenities. Our room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed. Quality toiletries we supplied as well as a 'small glass of whiskey' , juice and water. Breakfast was the best we have had at a B&B - a very good range of options offered. Extremely friendly couple hosted our stay and I would... More

Just stayed one night in a single room. Lovely room with everything I needed. The hospitality tray included juice, water, biscuits and hot drinks. A very quiet peaceful night's sleep. The Scottish breakfast which I'd ordered the night before was delicious and there was also a good choice of cereal, fruit, croissants and yogurt available. Great to have free wifi.... More
