As fairly regular visitors to the Pitbauchlie Hotel we decided to have a few days away at the end of March/beg April to celebrate another wedding anniversary! Had 5 super nights in a ground floor deluxe room which we'd asked for. > Room was quite spacious, very clean and with ample storage facilities. The good-sized bathroom had an invigorating shower...

SERVICE The service was friendly & efficient. We requested an early check in as we were going to a family funeral & when we arrived,12 noon, our room was ready. All the staff were smartly dressed ,courteous & efficient. LOCATION It's on the outskirts of Dunfermline & relatively easy to find, particularly if you are driving from Edinburgh. Located in...

Got a really good 3 night deal at this hotel. It's well situated for day to day visiting, we did Glasgow, the Kelpies and the Falkirk wheel. The hotel itself is nice and comfortable, with exelent friendly staff and lovely food. A real bargain would not hesitate recommending it to anyone.

I have been a fan of the pitbauchlie for a great number of years. So on Thursday my husband and I decided to pop in for tea. The staff are always very friendly and the setting looking out to the gardens from the conservatory are really nice. Anyway we had a beautiful 2 course meal. Well done to the pitbauchlie...

Attended the Pitbauchlie for a wake after funeral. We were provided with a range of sandwiches, sausage rolls, tea and coffee. Everything was fresh and the serving staff helpful and polite. They only had a small range of draught beers - but then this is a hotel, not a pub.

Clean and pleasant room in a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens close to the city centre. All the staff were friendly professional and the restaurant was very good. Plenty of parking on site. Highly recommended.

My sons took me for a meal in the restaurant for Mothers Day. I thought it was a bit over priced at £25 per head, but it was a special occasion and the boys wanted to spoil me. What a pity the staff didn't. I was the last to be handed the menu, the last to be asked for my...

Spending a weekend at this excellent hotel was really enjoyable. The rooms were recently decorated, large and well equipped. The large king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The staff in this hotel are some of the best, nothing is too much trouble for them, no matter how fussing the order. The dinner menu is...

There is a Rod Stewart lyric in a song which says " A little old fashioned but that's alright" It sort of sums up this hotel. I stayed 5 nights. It is undoubtedly in need of a makeover...but, everything you want is there. My room was very comfortable. (no mixer taps in shower but...) Nice deep bath. Good wifi, good...

I stayed here recently for 1 night on a brief business trip to Scotland. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was either a continental breakfast or a full cooked breakfast with fresh tea or coffee. I opted for the cooked, it was served quickly and hot. I would definitely stay here again.
