Stayed here for a wet weekend so appreciated the comfortable rooms and friendly service. Dinner was well presented and breakfast good especially the porridge. The location is excellent for visits to Edinburgh and. Glasgow.

My family recently had a catered party at Pitbauchlie. The venue was nice, staff were polite and quick with service, and everything went smoothly. The food bill, however, was a different matter - £150 for 100 cocktail sausages, and samosas which averaged £2.50 per PIECE. These were standard supermarket snacks which could be bought for less than a fiver in...

Thank you for kind comments regarding your attendance at a family event. Regrettably there had been an error with the food bill and this was rectified with the gentleman who booked and paid for the catering. We were pleased to note that you liked our venue and that our staff provided you with good service. We hope that you may...

Lovely hotel staff and room. Bed and breakfast paid for. Very poor fried breakfast. IMO was mostly microwaved. Scrambled eggs left plate full of water, same with mushrooms indicating overcooked. Poached eggs either a machine or microwave again so much moisture made toast inedible.

Always a good lunch in the conservatory, service good, portions good, and great prices and choice. Always made welcome, the gardens are also nice to walk around after eating. Situated in a nice part of Dunfermline with adequate parking.

Very helpful staff and excellent food. Moderate prices. I have stayed there on a few occasions but mainly for lunch. We also have had celebration events there many times, never disappointed. Good location

Stayed here whilst visiting family. Nice room, good breakfast friendly and helpful staff. The public area are all very nice and cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The price we paid was probably the top end of what it was worth but much more pleasant than staying in a...

Out for a catch-up family meal; received a great meal along with great service. Staff all very pleasant and attentive. Can highly recommend the Sunday lunch menu, being both great value for money with good choices and sized servings. A very relaxing atmosphere.

Either in the main restaurant or Sams Bistro the food and service are excellent in this Family run business. My wife and I had our Golden Wedding celebration and the staff and owners could not have been more helpful

My partner and myself stayed here just before Christmas as part of our "romantic" weekend away. Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. The staff were very helpful, specifically the lady on reception as she managed to squeeze us in for dinner even though they were very busy. The food was lovely, although I had been recently ill and didn't...
