Nice welcoming reception and the room was clean and well maintained and a good size. Parking was a short walk in the station car park and the discount given to hotel guests made this excellent value in the city centre. The hotel is adjacent to some good resturants including the Chop House, and is an excellent location for many Edinburgh attractions and shops. My only issue was that the wifi was not great - I paid for the enhanced wifi via Virgin and it didn't work at all. This problem is more to do with Virgin wifi rather than than the hotel who maybe better off finding another provider.

Hotel's Favourite
Arrived late on Thursday evening after flying in from Luton. We had booked this fairly recently due to our flights from Stansted being cancelled. So we needed a room for one night before moving to our other booked hotel. Our room was immaculately cleaned and infact looked like it had recently had a refurbishment. We had breakfast Saturday morning and very much enjoyed the table service instead of the usual buffet. All the staff were so friendly and taking the appropriate covid measures. We moved to the jurys inn next door as this was booked previously, and we wished we had stayed in the Premier inn! Perhaps you can visit jurys inn and show them how to do things properly. Will definitely stay again when next in Edinburgh.

My son and his girlfriend stayed here for the weekend for her birthday. Unfortunately on the day of check out my son took I’ll and was taking to hospital. His girlfriend was really upset and the staff were amazing with her especially Rita who let her stay in the room till I arrived. Thank you so much everyone. We are currently at the hub nxt door waiting to see how he is doing and it’s spotless clean .

Great location for the Royal Mile and Princes Street. Ideal also for the train station no more than 5mins walk. Staff at the hotel taking current COVID-19 measures very seriously making our stay reassuringly safe. This hotel still feels new and well maintained. We tried the Premier Plus and felt the little extra was good value. Couldn’t fault the usual breakfast and service. Highly recommended especially for train users.

Stayed 11th -13th September for my partner 50th birthday and also a break from her working tirelessly on a covid ward in our local hospital through out the pandemic.I meantioned it was a special birthday on booking and was offered a room upgrade. This was declined has we had the luxury room, so we were offered free breakfast for our stay. free breakdfast was not given dispite meantioning it to quite a number of staff across the weekend. Hence the booking office both days ( which was fab) Friday night hotel ran out of both bottled and off the pump larger ,so didnt get a drink. Saturday night (partners birthday), went into the bar, female member of staff came running and shouting at us, was extremely rude and arrogant and guess what NO LARGER AGAIN!!!. I submitted a complaint to PI only to have been fobbed off and they made excuse after excuse and ive just been ignored since. i will be leaving a review on other social media sites also.
