We stayed for 3 nights in February and absolutely loved it. Situated at the end of a very quiet road Albyn really is tucked away but still very near to everything. The local area has plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The city centre was maybe a 20min walk through the park but I love to walk and...

Our third visit to this lovely friendly B&B within easy walking distance of the centre of Edinburgh. Lydie and David welcome you most warmly to their lovely home. Breakfasts are wonderful and set you up for the day. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Good public transport if you do not want to walk into town. Plenty of places...

Lydie is the perfect host and this is a fantastic b&b in a quiet residential area of Edinburgh about 20mins walk to the old town centre. Amazing breakfasts(with delicious home made jams, compotes and pancakes!) and our room on the ground floor was surprisingly large and tastefully decorated. Would definitely recommend this place!

Situated in a lovely part of Edinburgh that strikes a perfect balance between residential and bustling, the Albyn Townhouse was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend visit. Upon arrival, we met the owner, Lydie, whose welcome made us feel like visiting old friends - indeed, it's very much family-run, with some of the baking even coming from their...

Amazing value guest house with a great welcome from the very friendly Lydie. Lovely big rooms and a great breakfast! Make sure to book parking with them as it is a secure car park. Not far to walk into Edinburgh or bus routes very close. Perfect stay

I stayed here with a group of friends over New Years and we all had a fantastic time! I regularly stay in hotels (often the big chains) in a similar price range. I was just blown away by the difference; Albyn Town House was miles better than them! It was outstanding in all areas: very clean, really friendly, amazingly comfortable...

If I could live here??? I would! The jams/compotes/stewed fruits with breakfast, were to die for. Actually the breakfast in general was amazing. The room was comfy, clean, and homely, my brother and I loved it so much we stayed an extra night (which did thoroughly irritate our next hotel) but it was worth it. They were very friendly here,...

Truly a great overnight stay. Room was great and everything you could ask for. It is so quiet eventhough you are in a city. Near enought to walk to all the sites etc. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent. Was parking available at small cost too. All in all we couldnt ask for more.

We stayed here for two nights and it was lovely! The welcoming was very warm and friendly, the room was spacious, tidy and comfortable and the breakfast was... delicious. There's really not much more too say, except that if we will visit Edinburgh again, that this place will be our first choice!
