Ted and Dot and all the staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrive and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. Dined in the restaurant and had great food and service. Will be calling back on our next visit to Scotland.

We have stayed in many expensive hotels worldwide, and I can safely say the Aaron Lodge, is way at the top of my list. FRIENDLY<CLEAN ,COMFORTABLE and Dinner was DELICIOUS. I am in the same industry,so I can tell this establishment is well run. We will certainly return Caroline.

I would expect an Edinburgh guesthouse to be familiar with gluten-free diet requirements. This one isn't and the only fare on offer to me for an evening meal was steak and chips, minus any sauce. At breakfast, my request for a poached egg was met with "We only do fried eggs" so that had to do. On the positive side...

Firstly the gentelman did not let us know when he made the reservation for the room or the restaurant that he needed gluten free foods!! Had he done so we would have made sure we had gluten free food to hand as we have done many times in the past The room rate was quoted when the reservation was made...

This hotel was as good as, if not better than any of your top range hotels with the added bonus of Ted and Dot (the owners of the B&B). They were excellent hosts and went out of their way...
