We received a great welcome as soon as we walked in. The owners, Ted & Dot were friendly, welcoming & informative. Great rooms with a huge comfy bed, great breakfast & the buses to the city centre stopped just outside the door. We will recommend the Aaron Lodge to any of our friends & family planning a visit to this...

I would like to say after our stay in this fantastic guest house we both had a fantastic time there. Breakfast was great. But what made our stay super was Ken the owner of the lodge. On our first night he drove us to the restraint we booked to have our anniversary meal. No other place would have done that....

The Lodge is very clean, the rooms well appointed and comfortable Although breakfast time during the week is from 7.30 to 8.30am we were almost told that we should have breakfast no later than 8am as if we come...

Ted and Dot are so welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Bus stops are right outside for easy and quick access into city centre. Can't wait till our next...

I have never stayed with such an awful host, ever, anywhere. The man (host) was rude and ignorant, has no idea that vegetarian food should not be soaked in meat juices, shouted and complained when I asked for some extra milk for a cup of tea, I left a week early as didn't want to stay somewhere where the host...

Our two days away were marred by 8am breakfast and the excuse of people having hospital appointments were weak. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. Not sure clinics function at weekends. We were paying guests did not expect to be treated as a nuisance not being on time for breakfast. There was an offer to have breakfast in the room...
