Considering i booked this place last minute. The day before actually, it was £75 for two people, one room with two small very comfortable beds, this also includes breakfast in the morning and what value for money it was, for one the hotel looks very good, very posh in my opinion. It also has a restaurant on the bottom floor...

Well priced small hotel close to Edinburgh city. Beds were comfortable and the room facilites were better than expected for what you pay. The breakfast was quick and tasty. The only inconvenience I experienced was the size of the ironing board as a business traveler.

Unbeknownst to us, our last-minute visit to Edinburgh coincided with the start of the Royal Agricultural show, and finding nice rooms was almost impossible. We managed to get a booking for our first night at the Hampton. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were at the back, so there was little street noise, and the drapes kept out the...

This small hotel is situated very close to Murrayfield stadium heading west from Haymarket Station toward Edinburgh zoo. It has six bedrooms. Ours (room 6) was fairly small but well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, hairdryer and plenty of storage space for a short stay. The bed was fine. There was a good power shower...

We stayed here for one night in August 2016, it is a welcoming hotel with parking out front, which when on motorbikes is a key requirement. The restaurant was of a good standard and we had both our dinner and breakfast here, both of us enjoying our meals. The bar was very friendly and we spent a few hours talking...

The room is basic, but it has everything you need for a visit of the city. This is a small hotel with just a few rooms, but the bar and restaurant downstairs is very popular, so there is always a cosy buzz. The bar closes in time, so you get to sleep quietly. The restaurant serves great food at very...

My wife and I stayed in the Hampton for five nights as it 10-5 mins by regular bus service to the city centre - also the Edinburgh Airport Bus and the Glasgow Bus stop outside the hotel. Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable and kept clean - over a weekend our overseas friends took over the remaining rooms and found...

My wife, father-in-law and I stayed at a nearby guest house where no meals were served so I went looking for somewhere for dinner in the nearby area. A local resident recommended this hotel for dinner based on her past experiences and it turns out that this recommendation proved absoloutely spot-on. The food was very tasty with huge portions, beers...

This hotel is nice and everything was fine. The peolpe were friendly and the bar in the hotel was comfortable and cheap. Everything was clean. Could have been a bit more charming. The breakfast was good and enough.

Stayed at the Hamptons for 5 nights - sightseeing, and playing golf in and around Edinburgh. The hotel has a central location - bus only 10-15 away from center. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but clean, and have the amenities you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is excellent, you can order whatever you like. Very...
