Have stayed here several times and the expectation has never dropped. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. We had drinks in the bar in the evening and was a good atmosphere even with the COVID restrictions. We stayed in the mini Georgian suite and was very comfortable. Good size rooms and well decorated. Breakfast in the morning was really nice as usual. If your planning a overnight trip I would highly recommend.
We had a Itison voucher for a 2 night stay with a night in (2 course meal) and a night out (cocktails, bar bites and access to night club however this is closed due to Covid). We had cancelled our summer holiday and decided to use the voucher for a staycation. Despite living in Glasgow this was our first time staying over in Edinburgh and we could not have been more impressed by the hotel. We arrived around 2:30pm we were temperature checked on arrival and then greeted by a friendly face at reception. Murray could not have been more helpful in checking us in and getting us a table for drinks whilst we waited despite the bar being busy. The room was immaculate, very modern with a large bathroom, the room had some lovely touches such as some sweeties, white company toiletries, hand sanitiser (which smelled amazing!) and a GHD hairdryer much to my delight! The hotel itself is gorgeous all decorated with autumn trees, we were in awe every time we walked in (loads of instagram photo opportunities!). Every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful could see the smiles despite their masks, despite having travelled to many different countries this was the best service we have ever received. Many thanks again for making our staycation so special we will definitely be back! Could not recommend this hotel more!…
What can i say the hotel was magnifique the staff amazing from the cleaners in the morning to the day staff and night staff nothing to much trouble service with a smile a well run ship where every staff member looked like they enjoyed working here and making everything perfecto for you we had a curtaun pole come down in our room and was put in a beautiful suite room big mention to murray and jodie the manager we will be back for more fab cocktails food and service thank you tigerlilly and all the staff
We stayed here for two nights after a wonderful two weeks doing the NC500 and can’t praise it high enough. We asked for an upgrade to a suite which they happily accommodated at a reasonable cost, but unfortunately there was a small issue with noise from the AC in the room. So not only did they fix that immediately but also offered the first nights upgrade fee free of charge. This was unexpected and most welcome. The staff were all young but very friendly and clearly well trained and loving their roles - always gives the best impression. Our suite was lovely and although we did not have dinner at the hotel, the breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented. All in all we absolutely loved our stay at Tigerlily and will definitely be back the next time we stay in the wonderful city of Edinburgh. …
Let me start of with the location of this hotel which is amazing close to all bars and restaurants and 2 min walk from main high street. The hotel also offers parking discount at local NCP. The hotel is unique and gorgeous a lot of effort has gone to dress this hotel and it’s bar and restaurant. It is small but due to how they have cleverly designed it you feel as though you are walking through several rooms and experiencing something different with each corner. It smells goregous I fact just like a top end Las Vegas hotel me and my husband enjoy. We picked this hotel for our anniversary and got it through an Itson deal. The deal was a two night stay with drink package and meal package. We upgraded the room to a suite and all in all it was a pretty good deal. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. Reception is small and when we arrived early room not quite ready but we had a lovely drink or two in the gorgeous bar. They rang us shortly after and we went to the suite which was beautiful. Extremely clean and full of amenities from White Company including a bespoke hand sanitiser spray which oh my god has reduced my eczema on my hands ( please let me know where I can get more from). The restaurant was lively even for a Tuesday evening and as we had a package deal the meals were from a reduced menu. They were very different but so tasty. We also had some lovely cocktails which again were made properly. You can always tell with a great Espresso Martini. The beds were comfy with lush bed linen. The breakfast was insane it was so good and again the staff so friendly and helpful the choice were way better than most hotels and exceptional quality I had smoked salmon with truffle oil scrabbles egg one day, full Scottish next, my husband had eggs Benedictine’s and waffles the next. It was Fine restaurant standard. We later came in for cocktails and nibbles which again were new experiences for us but so tasty. The hotel also had taken extremely great care to adjust to the current Covid climate and we felt safe. The second morning there were no hot water but they sorted this out within an hour but unfortunately to late as we were checking out. But all in all a fab boutique hotel in the centre of Edinburgh. We would love to return…
