This a lovely little place, not too far away from the City Center / Princess Street. Basic and very clean single room accommodation with a nice breakfast. It is very easy and pretty straight forward to find and come to this place from anywhere in the city center. This place, although they do not have the dinning area in the...

Run by a lovely couple, warm spirit, excellent service, great "Full Scottish" breakfasts, and a comfortable house for quite a reasonable price. When I asked for an extra blanket late on a night in early September, the blanket arrived in 5 minutes, and the heat was turned on as well. The building itself is old, yet kept up relatively well:...

The hotel is a brisk 20 minute walk from Waverley Train Station heading away from Princess Street, booking in is conducted at another hotel 2 doors further down the road, the same hotel is also used for the breakfast which i must say was the highlight of my stay, an excellent full English with super service. After checking in i...

I've booked Eyre Guest House because I wanted to be with my friends. Even in the e-mail was booking for the Eyre. Check-in is next door and finally my room was next two doors. It isn't only one house but four. Luckily I had asked if I can have a breakfast in the other house and has been told yes...

No light in stairway of 1st floor landing - surely a health and safety issue? Mouldy shower, bathroom so small you could hardly turn around, with no room to place toiletries. No sockets to plug in electrical appliances except under the beds, dodgy electric kettle, torn sheets, dirty looking carpets. How can this guest house get a good review at...

You receive a very warm welcome upon arrival from Kay & Kenny, I travelled up to undertake the Moonwalk marathon. There is a really cosy lounge with TV, board games if you want to use it,I felt very at home. My room was small but effective for the time that I was there, tea / coffee etc, TV and ensuite....

Stayed for 3 nights on holiday. Staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and always helpful right from when we first arrived. Room had everything we needed and was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast each morning was delicious! Guest house was within walking distance to most places and if not, was just a bus ride away. Great value! Thanks for a great...

Stayed there for 3 nights to see friends at the end of a business trip, and it was great. Room warm (that counts for a lot for a soft southeneer like me), clean and with good tea making facilities. Downstairs is a large lounge with comfy settees for guests, with info, ironing board etc. Although the Eyre is not perhaps...
