We booked our Wedding event at the Victoria Park Hotel this September 2014. The hotel was the perfect venue for the amount of guests we had coming [100]. We got a deal with the Hotel [Perfect if your on a Budget] which gave us the whole hotel for the evening including the rooms. We opted for a hot buffet, which...

My sister and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights recently. We were visiting Edinburgh for a family wedding. There was a number of annoying issues which we had to bring to the attention of the staff. The sink and the shower basin in the room was blocked so neither could be used. This was reported on the second...

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. The most disappointing was the response to my complaint in the morning at the room not having been serviced by the cleaning staff. The staff were dismissive of my complaints: - Beds left unmade. - Towels not replaced and instead hung up from the floor. - Toilet paper not replaced. - Sink &...

I booked a 2 night break for my parents and their best friends who were celebrating their joint 60th birthdays. My parents wanted to convey how much they enjoyed their break. They said the staff were lovely, the food was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They could not have wished for anything better!

It may have been a sad occasion for our visit to this hotel but I have to say we were all treated in such a nice manner I had to write a review. Staff friendly and welcoming, food fresh and tasty, nice surroundings. Thankyou.

Stayed here for two nights and generally this is a good hotel. There is a bar on the ground floor which one night had live music on, but we were not disturbed by any any noise. I would say that the building needs some urgent maintenance, particularly the windows which in our room (number 1) were fixed shut due to...

Got a good deal on living social for this hotel, £129 for two nights, in a "superior" double room, breakfast both days and dinner on 1st night. As it was a great deal it's okay. But if I had paid full price I would not be happy. Room very small, the "double" bed was in fact two singles pushed together,...

Hotel was shabby and poorly decorated. Rooms specifications were not what we had booked. We were told we would have a bath and a shower. There was only a bath that was supposed to have special features, all had ceased to work sometime ago and facias were falling off. My wife couldn't wash her hair during the whole stay. None...
