Travellers' Choice
With world-class golf courses just up the road, plus the excitement of Edinburgh just a pitch and putt away, our south-east Edinburgh hotel is a great place to stay. Not least because the hotel features our new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly- updated bathroom with large shower bed, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed. If you're here for the shopping, there's a huge range of stores within walking distance, at Fort Kinnard Retail Park. If you'd rather relax, then Musselburgh is a lovely sleepy fishing village. As for the partying, all the buzz and excitement of Edinburgh is within easy reach, including some iconic landmarks.

Spent a night here due to family reasons. I booked on the day as was so short notice, got a very reasonable room rate of 40 pound for 2 adults and paid 18 pound for 2 breakfasts which I thought was amazing value. When we got to the hotel as per usual I mucked the booking up and asked for a double when I needed a twin, the receptionist was amazing and changed our which we were very grateful. The room was perfect, beds very comfortable, bathroom spotless, everything was immaculately cleaned. Breakfast at the cuddie brae was beautiful and good value for money would very highly recommend using this hotel and we shall be going bk nxt month

Spent 2 nights in this hotel . Well impressed with the staff. Very friendly but took the whole Covid thing seriously and very politely explained what was expected. The room itself was very clean and had everything required for a great stay. We also ate at the adjoining pub which again was very friendly but again took the Covid situation seriously. Again the staff were very friendly and great service. Both very good value. Would definitely use this hotel again

Stayed with my Mum overnight for an early hospital appointment. Lady on reception was so lovely and even booked a taxi for the next morning for Mum. She directed us to the cuddie brae next door although they had no space and advised it would be over an hour wait so we ended up going elsewhere. We should have booked with hindsight, however there was no need to make us feel a bit silly for not. The room itself was very warm, but with the window open was very noisy as we were facing the carpark. The extra single bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, but Mum said the main bed was comfortable. We had to ask for extra pillows which were provided with no problems. Overall the hotel was lovely and clean and following covid guidelines properly, making us feel very safe at all times. Shame about the uncomfortable bed, but it was 1 night so no real harm done.
