I have stayed here a number of times previously and just had another great visit. It is always the first place I think of when I come to Edinburgh for a short break. Martin is so helpful and friendly, and is always available if you need anything. Breakfast is hot and well cooked, and the beds are comfortable. We had...

Martin, Kirsten and Kate are the smilingest, friendliest and helpfuliest of hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. This is our second 2-3 week stay, and we have loved it both times. It's clean and efficient and soooooo easy to get to town from, with bus stops very close by. (One is outside the front door). You can walk in to...

Felt very home like. Friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom was extremely clean. Loved the refreshment tray (tea, coffee, biscuits) especially after a delayed journey up. Breakfast was good, there was cereals, toast, fruit and you could have cooked as well with tea, coffee and juices provided.Bus stop just round the corner to get into town or a 30...

There is a bus stop outside the guest house with regular buses into the centre which takes around 15 minutes. The only thing which could have been better was the...

I get annoyed with places that are a 6 at best being given a 9 or 10 because they liked the owners. That leaves no room for places that are truly exceptional to be rated the 9 or 10 they deserve. This is very plain accommodation at a reasonable price. Our room was on the first floor of a multi-floor...

Really enjoyed our time here for fringe, lady who managed breakfast was lovely and room was very spacious apart from having to go through bathroom to get there. Breakfast was excellent but quite pricey if you compare it to the inner city

We stayed here while visiting the Fringe this year. Could not have been more delighted with it. Great location, lovely friendly staff and owner. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fab non greasy full English for breakfast. What more could you ask? We don't. Thank you for a great stay. 😊
