A fantastic guest house to join Edinburgh. From the guest house you can discover Edinburgh by feet or just in a few minutes by bus (directly in front). We are welcomed so lovely and friendly, it feels like home. The rooms are typical scotish, small but so nice and romantic. The gorgeous breakfast and all the homemade food are delicious....

Was visiting over Easter break and have to say this is one of the best Guest houses I have stayed in. Firstly the place is situated very well for public transport. Room was charming and comfortable. Breakfast was very good indeed. And host was also very welcoming. Certainly a place I would book again if I am visiting Edinburgh. Would...

I enjoyed my time here so much that I wish I could have stayed longer. It's in a quiet spot and is very convenient for getting into town. The room was clean and comfortable and the decor was charming. However, the best thing about staying here is the hostess Rowena who is genuinely welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend...

Roll on next years 6 Nations, what a gem of a place, beautifully spotless, excellent breakfast. Right on the number 11 bus route, just ideal. Getting in and out of the shower was a bit difficult, but big deal!! Still done the trick

We spent two nights at the Sheridan Guest House and loved every minute of it. Rowena is an awesome hostess. The décor, breakfast, and attention to details are second to none. The location is great, very quiet, close to public transportation and the Ocean Terminal. We will definitely stay there again.

We felt very at home at Sheridan Guest House. Our hostess was warm and friendly, a dynamic lady. She runs a spotlessly clean house, decorated with artistic flair including contemporary painting and prints, stained glass panels and traditional basketry craft work - (not to forget the orchids! I wish mine were in such good condition!)Our room was a cute attic...

Lovely guest house, fantastic hostess, room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. Parking was easy on the street, no restrictions. On a handy bus route. Short walk along the river to leith centre. Would definitely recommend. Hope to visit again soon. Thank you Rowena!

We were very impressed with the Sheridan Guest House in Edinburgh. We stayed in room 4 which was beautifully decorated with a king size bed. It was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were also very good with a menu to choose from as well as cereals, cheeses and yogurts. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed for two nights for business purpose. Rowena the host, as previous reviews had described, is the best you can possibly find out there! Her commitment to provide the 'home away from home' makes the stay one of the most enjoyable ever. She treated every guests as if they are part of her family, remembers all of us by our...
