Lovely guest house, fantastic hostess, room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. Parking was easy on the street, no restrictions. On a handy bus route. Short walk along the river to leith centre. Would definitely recommend. Hope to visit again soon. Thank you Rowena!

We were very impressed with the Sheridan Guest House in Edinburgh. We stayed in room 4 which was beautifully decorated with a king size bed. It was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were also very good with a menu to choose from as well as cereals, cheeses and yogurts. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed for two nights for business purpose. Rowena the host, as previous reviews had described, is the best you can possibly find out there! This is a beautiful immaculately clean property in a good location for public transportation or even walking to downtown Edinburgh or Leith. As others have stated the best part is the wonderful owner Rowena! She was so warm and friendly and her breakfasts were to die for!

My husband and I stayed here during our recent visit to Edinburgh. There is a Lothian bus stop (number 11) across the street, which will give you easy access to and from the city center. Our room was very comfortable with a fridge, lots of outlets, and very quiet. The best part about this B&B is by far Rowena. She...

The best part of this B&B is the wonderful host, Rowena. She was unfailingly cheerful, helpful and attentive to the smallest detail. We had a lovely large room in this beautiful house, thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic breakfasts cooked with really fresh ingredients and touch of individual flair, and chose to walk the convenient half hour to the city each day...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Tom and Rowena (the owners) are amazing. The breakfast was to die for. We'd look forward to the breakfast all day. We liked the pancakes so much we asked for the recipe, which was conveniently provided to us by Rowena. The rooms were extremely clean. My wife is very picky about these things and...

We had a very pleasant 5 night-stay at this little B&B. Breakfast was excellent, and rooms were clean and nice. It's located in Leith, so we used bus to get around, about ten minutes to town. Walking takes around 40 minutes. The bus stop was right outside the hotel, and it was easy to navigate the system. If you're ok...
