Stayed here a couple of nights for a break in Edinburgh. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city with the sights, shops and eateries all within easy reach. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bar is well stocked with a good selection of drinks. I didn't try the breakfast as they were only serving continental style due to Covid restrictions. I would definitely stay here again if I was to make a return visit.

Stayed here for 2 nights to see Edinburgh. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the main attractions, so an ideal base. With Ibis you know what you will get. A clean modern room, not as well furnished as say a Marriott / Holiday Inn but fine for a short stay, although the beds are quite basic and rather thin. Did not bother us, we all slept well. The hotel was pretty quiet and a bit lacking in atmosphere. There is a nice modern bar but few people in it (but Covid restrictions in place) and a Costa next door where we had breakfast. Like most hotels in Edinburgh there is no car parking, but they offer a discount at an NCP car park about 10 minutes walk away which was fine. Lots of cars there, most of which had gone by Monday. All in all ideal for what we needed at a fair price.

We stayed in Edinburgh for an overnight stay and chose this hotel due to it's city centre location and it was super central :) The hotel check in was ok and the lady was friendly and polite . We stayed in a standard room overlooking the main street, which was not too noisy. The hotel room was clean and had good internet connectivity and coffe/tea making facilities. There was also room service if needed and there was a restaurant downstairs, but we never used it. There is plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and the castle is only a 10 or 15 minute walk from the hotel. All in all a pleasant stay. I wish i could say more, but time was not on our side :(

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our road trip. Reception staff very pleasant, Brice in the bar is very friendly and professional with great drinks and the food is lovely too. Lots of COVID measures implemented which us great. Breakfast is continental at the moment, understandably, good selection. Room on the 9th floor, slept like a log and had beautiful views. Will return when next in Edinburgh. Thank you!

For the price paid, you can’t beat it. Great range at breakfast, but we did have to be served, which took a tad longer. All in all great stay, only thing is the lack privacy to the bathrooms- there is no door locks.
