Hotel was very nice, room was a bit small but cozy. Staff was very friendly and Andy in particular was excellent. Location was not ideal, about a 30-45 minute walk to city center but bus stop right out front if you want to take bus. Depends on how you prefer to travel

Good afternoon, I am delighted to read that you chose to spend some of such a special occasion with us and I know Andy will be pleased to know his service was appreciated. It is indeed about a 30 minute leisurely stroll into the West End of the City Centre but for Edinburgh it is unusually flat which makes the...

Me and my sister stayed for Edinburgh zoo it was a nice distance from there but you'd have to get an Uber to town. The room was very spacious and had a cute feeling to it. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Good afternoon, Thank you for the review - I am delighted you enjoyed your stay. As well as the private cab option we have many regular buses that take you into the City Centre and as you rightly point out, the Zoo is very close-by and a nice walking distance. I trust you had a great time at the Zoo...

we chosen this place in view of a Rugby match in Murrayfield stadium, best choice either for location (3 minutes walking from stadium) and for rooms quality. Bus stop to downtown are very close, 15 minutes drive. Excellent breafast with buffet and menu

Very pleasant hotel with very accommodating staff! Was welcomed into our room with flowers and a card because of a special occasion which was lovely! About a 30 minute walk from the centre but 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop so easy access to city centre! Would recommend if looking to stay just outside the city centre!

Happy Anniversary! I am delighted to hear we contributed in some small way to such a special occasion and I am glad the small gesture of flowers and card was appreciated. We are within touching distance of The West End and unusually for Edinburgh a nice flat walk - although as you say, the buses are regular and plentiful heading...

Nice hotel right on the bus line, makes it very easy to get to city center if you do not have a car. Free wifi and free breakfast is included. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Towel warmers in bathroom. The Bothy is a nice pub attached to hotel with live music on certain nights with no cover charge.

Good evening Sherry, I am delighted you took advantage of our free live music which we host on Friday and Saturday nights - it really is very popular as we enjoy a wonderful array of talented solo artists. For those of us who know Edinburgh we would never recommend driving in the City Centre which is why our location on...

We stayed at the Murrayfield Hotel for 4 nights. Great location - easy to grab a bus, Uber etc. right in front of the property. The room was very comfortable, clean, great shower. The hotel restaurant is super handy and offered continental and or menu breakfast items. The Bothy bar was a great place to meet people and enjoy a...

Stayed here with the family, booked 3 rooms which we are allocated on the ground floor, all very comfortable and extremely clean, Breakfast was plentiful with an excellent selection. Found the hotel to be perfectly based to explore from bus stops outside the hotel although a half an hour walk into the city centre certainly walks off the cooked breakfast....

Good evening Mark, Indeed, our main safe was perhaps a little too secure on that occasion but you are correct that we are in the process of having this corrected. The title of your review nicely sums up a key factor for our hotel which is the location. We are within touching distance of The West End of Edinburgh but...
