Heriott Park Hotel is more of a Bed & Breakfast Guest house than a hotel. We booked a family room for three people and whilst there was three single beds, there was only two cups, two biscuits etc. The bathroom was very small and the shower was broken so we had to shower holding the shower head in one hand... This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are really friendly. Check in was really easy and straight forward. The breakfast was lovely and filling. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The central heater has a thermostat that works and you can control the temperature of the room. The location was lovely and really accessible. There is a bus... More

the guesthouse is situated in a nice and pretty part of Edinburgh. The breakfast was good. However, the wifi reception was very poor and we could access it only in few locations. Got a horrible rash on both my arms after 2 days of stay. Got the bed sheets changes as was worried of BED BUGS , which if present... More

The guest house is nice and the included breakfast delicious. The owners are lovely, eager to please and excellent hosts. Very helpful!! Our accommodations were clean. Shower very small but workable. Our room was on the street side and we could hear the noises clearly. It wasn't a problem for us. I give this a four for one reason only.... More

Our room had a wonderful view of the playing fields across the road. The place is a little distant from the heart of the city but the bus-stop is pretty close. The breakfast, cleanliness and service is good but the wi fi was moody.

A budget B&B Guest House close to bus stop to central Edinburgh. Our two night stay was comfortable. Bed was very small as was our room. The décor and furniture was very out-dated. We were advised that it had only been taken over by new owners two days prior to our arrival. We were greeted by a lovely lady who... More

Edinburgh must be full of places to stay but this one - whilst not excellent - was one worth having a look at. Quiet area with good views, clean and comfortable with a good welcome. Good value and breakfast was good. I believe this guest house has changed hands recently but its still worth a try. easy walk into town.
