Shower room was small yet shockingly powerful and sufficiently warm, apart from one morning when it was actually quite cold. Great little TV in the room, all channels available, except some which were impossible to tune into. Greg is wonderful and charming, the perfect host!! He made the Lyncliffe for us, 10/10 would visit again!! Wifi is the only thing...

Dear Steve, Thank you for your honest review. Yes the showers are small, although it is an excellent shower as both powerful and plenty of water supply. The showers cubicle are designed to be smaller as we have limited space in this over 200 years old building. Although the advantage if this William Playfair Building is the high ceiling and...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The owners are very welcoming. Our room was huge for a family of 3. The building is old but well-maintained and clean. Most importantly, it is close to almost all attractions. Recommended place!

The hotel is very close to many attractions and we had a very comfortable stay there. They have large rooms, good shower and nice breakfast (you can ask for other things from your table). The attending was great! The sir who was taking care of the hotel with his wife at the time (probably the owner) is a very sympathetic...

Dear Andy, Thank you for the very good review and you enjoyed our cooked breakfast prepared by our Chef. However the small showers are actually the size of a British Standard, only the cubicles make it look smaller. But we have also the very big Shower / Bath Room available for the guests to use at the lower grandfloor. We...

Stayed here for two nights and overall I found it to be quite pleasant. Greg was really nice and accommodating. He kindly helped us print out our flight tickets (this saved us from having to find and pay for a printing place in the city). Breakfast was very good, and he was also considerate with regards to our dietary requirements....

This bed and breakfast is perfectly located in the heart of the city centre, close to the main train station and airport tram. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and gave us wonderful advice in regards to things to do and see, and main directions. We received a nice complimentary Scottish breakfast and the room was clean and tidy,...

“My room - number two - did have a squeaky floor, but it had a good wifi connection the whole time I was there. It was a little noisy, being beside the road. It had one double and one single bed, and it was on the ground floor - meaning less stairs to get to the breakfast area.”
