Stayed for 2 nights during november .Rooms are quite spacious and well appointed. The hotel is 3 miles outside Edinburgh with buses running every 10 mins (bus stop 20 yards in front of hotel)buses run while midnight.Hotel is above a Wetherspoons and food is typically Wetherspoons , cheap and cheerful, I would definitely stay here again.

After searching for hotels in the centre came across this hotel and what a find! No car parking to pay for and buses to the centre every ten minutes only 1.60 each that run til midnight! good clean rooms, a little dark due to the decor and quite warm but there was a fan, we were only in the room...

If you are looking to explore famous attractions of Edinburgh then this is probably not the best option. Although the rooms are cozy and have an amazing bath tub but it is at half hour away from city's main attractions. Most of the action in near or at Prince's street. Forts, day tours, markets are close to prince's street.

The room was nice with plenty of space and had everything we needed, had a sofa bed that my son really enjoyed. But some staff were very rude and unhelpful in the restaurant downstairs. Good location and regular buses into town so no need to take the car. Would stay again just a shame about the rude staff

We booked a family room as that was all that was available. The room was very spacious although very dark with only a tiny window. Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom smelt a bit like a urinal and room carpet could have been hoovered better. Good location. We stay here as it's a good base for visiting family. Plus side...
