We were rescued taken in and made to feel so welcome at really short notice. Our check out was going to be too early for the full breakfast, but we didn't go hungry. We were left all we needed to help ourselves. Lovely, lovely host.

Just had a great weekend in Edinburgh and really enjoyed are stay at the A Haven townhouse. Informal and friendly and reasonably priced being only 10 minutes away from Edinburgh or Leith waterfront . Good, ample, home cooked breakfast. Will be returning.

Lovely little B&B ,very reasonabley priced. Old fashioned townhouse. Ideal location for the Shore,Ocean Terminal and Edinburgh Centre on a good bus route just outside the hotel. Ok the rooms are a bit dated but the bed was comfy and room clean. Ideal hotel without the extortionate prices you would pay in Edinburgh Centre at this time of year. Many thanks David to you and your team.

A warm welcome from David and all the staff who were all helpful throughout our stay. Bedroom and bathroom just big enough for us, (although less than Premiere Inn style accommodation). 'Period' decoration and style in keeping with the townhouse, i.e. not modern but quaint (and clean). Standard facilities for UK B&B. Accommodating of my gluten-free dietary needs - breakfasts generous and well prepared. Secure parking appreciated. The location was just right for us for a family wedding in Leith and a couple of sorties into Edinburgh for dinner and the National Museum. Good value.

My husband and I travelled from the states. David was able to have our room ready a bit early and our stay was superb. Gracious hosts, malt whiskey available, breakfast, directions and quiet rooms for sleeping. We would stay again —- the bus stop is right in front of the hotel so need to use a car.
