I booked a a night within the hotel on Halloween as we had booked a walking ghost tour within the city. It was a bit of a walk down to the Royal mile taking about 25 mins but as it was dry it was ok. The hotel was fantastic, the reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The entrance lobby was warm and clean, very inviting. All of the corridors were very well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious with a queen sized bed, seating area and a good sized bathroom. The room again was nicely decorated and well equipped. Due to the restrictions the hotel restaurant was closed but we were allowed to order food into the hotel and the receptionist even pointed us in the direction of local shops. I would recommend the hotel and will most probably stay again.

Visited in the middle of the Scottish lockdown where all restaurants etc were shut to eat in. The hotel was within walking distance of Princes Street and everyone working there was very friendly and helpful when it came to figuring out what we could do for food. Room service was available (though perhaps a little pricey - but well within a standard range for a hotel) but we opted for ordering in food which they were absolutely fine with. Room was spacious and clean, perhaps a little niggle that the shower leaked but nothing worth worrying about. Would recommend and would definitely be back next time we’re in Edinburgh.

Great hotel to use for a weekend break. Only a few minutes walk from Haymarket tram stop, so easy to reach from the airport. About 10 minutes walk from Princes Street, but Uber in Edinburgh is quick, easy and good value, so you can get just about anywhere.

We stayed here for five nights on a Travelzoo bed and breakfast deal and were disappointed to learn that breakfast was a bag containing a yogurt a fruit juice and a pain au chocolat. A far cry from the usual full Scottish breakfast. However, the box breakfast was of high quality and fortunately there was also a hot bacon or egg roll also available for collection in the morning. It would appear that the Jury’s Inn group are cashing in on the opportunities provided by the corona virus to save money as we have been provided with full cooked breakfasts in other hotels in the UK. That said our room was extremely comfortable and the staff were most courteous and obliging under difficult circumstances and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very well located close to Haymarket railway station and with a good selection of restaurants nearby as well as excellent transport facilities to other parts of the city.

Dear Mike, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Unfortunately due to the size of our hotel which is a 282 bed room property we are able to accommodate over 500 guests per night. Due to this and our restaurant now running at 50% smaller than usual due to the social distancing measures put in place due to COVID - 19 we are not able to run a hot plated breakfast. We do appreciate your feedback and glad to read you enjoyed the rest of your stay with us. We hope to welcome you back to the hotel when things are back to normal Kind regards

I booked to stay here with my partner for their birthday and we had a lovely time. The room was great, staff were friendly and we were also able to get a parking space. In the evening we had dessert and drinks down at the bar which we found to have a nice atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!
