We had a really lovely greeting and the room was clean enough. It was small but we didn't mind that. The complaints of others are echoed by us too, the toilet seat was loose, the shower leaked water and the head was split. The bed was hard, the room was boiling we had both windows open all night and didn't...

Where to start. From the dated decoration, small double bed with access only from one side, and uncomfortable mattress.which made access difficult,; tiny sink, that took ages to drain; loose loo seat, split shower head, and no saucers for the tea cups. Kettle wouldn't fit under the sink tap. Etc., etc. This was in contrast to the city which we...

We stayed for one night through July. Room was tiny and the wall slopes. Hit my knee on it in the night and it hurt throughout the day. Area in which the hotel (more like a hostel) wasn't the best area to stay, was on the edge of what looked like a council estate. Whole hotel smelt like curry which...

Not having been to Edinburgh previously, my belated birthday present from my Fiancé was to have a City Break there. I highly recommend Edinburgh itself, great people, lovely city, travelled around as well (Dunfermline is also recommended), historically interesting, great places to eat. etc. However, although I knew it would be a budget place, and wasn't expecting a Palace, we...

Small place but never ran into any other guests. Staff were more than happy to help, very friendly. Excellent location just a walk into town. Take away nearby was convenient and good quality, area was also safe to walk back to late after dinner at a pub in city Centre. Clean, awesome shower/bathroom. Room was a bit squish but that...

Very disappointing, a £35.00 a night room , Not what we expected at all, a frosty greeting on arrival / checking in.The bedroom was very small, curtains dirty, very small shower room (no bath) The all room very disappointing for the extortionate money we paid, our main complaint was the smell of curry throughout the house which made me and...

Although bedroom 4 is adequate size ,it is in quite a sorry state. I admit it was cheap ,but that did not excuse the bed that was so hard it made my hip bones sore by morning. On top of that there was a loud, and very regular knocking sound coming from water pipes/ central heating that kept me awake...

This's b&b is very small and tucked away on what looks a housing estate a fair walk from the city but there are some nice pubs and theatres close by the welcome isn't the friendliest basically your sat down asked to give your driving license details and then given your key the room is small and the bed is seriously...

Rooms are small, but clean, and have a great shower! The people running it are not very friendly or welcoming, and the place could do with a few air fresheners. We never bothered with the breakfast, so I can't really comment on it, but it did just look like cereal and toast, so I wouldn't pay extra for it. It...
