Absolutely fabulous apartment. It has everything you need to cook in if you want. Why go out when you have all to need to cook and stay in lovely surroundings and it even has a Dishwasher! Tesco is a short walk away.
The apartment is located very closed to the city centre (15/20 minutes from Princes Street) and it has all the features that you look for during a stay: cleaness, warmness, fully equipped and great price!

I would give 5 stars if the wifi for our apartment on the underground level was better. Please improve on it. An additional tumble dryer would make this place a must go to for anyone visiting Edinburgh.
Overall pleasant, clean, spacious friendly staffs
Beautiful apartment. Perfect central location, beautifully decorated, great views of the city and owner so helpful.
We used it as a base for a conference but it would be amazing for a break with the family as incredibly big.
We'll be back!!

Broughton & Calton
Also Known As
Destination Edinburgh York Place Apartments Scotland
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to malls and utilitarian housing, Broughton and Calton have long been transitional neighbourhoods with a mixed identity. It’s here that Edinburgh’s gay village found a home in the 1980s. But gay culture is anything but overt along bustling epicentre Broughton Street; even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The
top of Leith Walk is more ragged. This major thoroughfare boasts a famously gritty gay club, as well as a strip of good Indian restaurants. Regal Georgian and Victorian townhouses preside over largely deserted streets in Calton, where only the occasional restaurant or hotel brings much life. Even so, a steady trickle of idlers and picnickers pass by to climb Calton Hill for its wide-open lawns, wonderful city views, and curious monuments – an Athenian-style temple among them.
