Lizzie made all my family very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was beautiful, cosy, warm and clean.. home from home. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice available. Will be returning soon.

Gary and Lizzie were very kind. They provided us with all the information we need about the city and taking the buses. The room was lovely and comfortable and cozy. We visited in November and the city was cold and it was great to come back to a nice warm room. The food was excellent. I would go back!

We just returned from our second visit to Edinburgh and booked Kingsway both times. We first stayed there during the Fringe festival in August 2015. This time, we were there in November 2016. Lizzie and Gary are welcoming, helpful and they make the best breakfast - always offering a daily special. They can recommend nearby restaurants and pubs and can...

The Kingsway Guest House is a very good B&B for visiting Edinburgh. Lizzie and Gary are lovely friendly hosts with good restaurant recommendations around. The house is a bit outside the city center but perfectly connected by bus and quite. You can walk in the city center 25 minutes or by bus 10 minutes. Nice area with a lot of...

A really excellent and friendly hotel convenient for exploring Edinburgh. Close to bus lines for a quick trip to the Royal Mile or Princes Street. Good restaurants in the area as well. The hosts, Lizzie and Gary, are warm and friendly and could not be more helpful in pointing out what is available in the area and sights to see...

The hosts here are both lovely people, knowledgable, helpful, and personable. This was our second time at Kingsway, and it was even better than the first time. Breakfast was very good. Our room was a little tight, and could use a freshening. The whole facility was very clean. Good value for money. We would happily return.

Our stay in Edinburgh was wonderful. Kingsway is clean and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great! Recommend taking the bus (over driving) to the city center, but it's easy, quick and inexpensive at 4 British Pounds each for a full day of on/off riding.

We stayed at the Kingsway Guest House September 7th through the 10th and again on night of the 14th. The accommodations were excellent. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. The recommendations for local pubs and restaurants were perfect, including doing reservations for our party of four couples when we returned on the 14th from our travels through Scotland.

This guesthouse is situated a 20 min walk from the Royal Mile. Along the way, there are businesses, services, and restaurants that are of use, especially the laundry that did all our clothes and delivered them for 11 pounds. The hosts are beyond gracious. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are far beyond expectation -- Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto...
