Stayed two nights. Nice clean room. Refreshed in full after one night. Good facilities. Close to centre. Good restaurants all around. Only one issue! Hair dryer. One of those that you have to press button down continually whilst you use it. Bit silly for 4 star. Take your own. Would definitely return

Stayed for 2 nights in a superior double room. On arrival we were met by a very courteous young man who was extremely knowledgeable about the area and places to visit. As we had arrived early our room was not ready, but we said we would go for something to eat and could they call us when it was ready....

I stayed one night in this hotel and would like to thank the staff for being very friendly and helpful. Large rooms in classical style with a very good bed. Small things that prevented me to rank it five stars are: limited place to park car, slow WLAN, heating system and the sink with two taps for hot and cold...

Bathroom was a bit old but very clean. Room was excellent, lots of period character features, very big and very comfortable bed and the view over the links was stunning. Didn't eat in as there's lots of options in bruntsfield. Very handy having the on-site parking. Would gladly stay again.

The hotel is very nicely located and is only 30 mins walk from the train station. The hotel itself was very nice with a lovely Scottish feel to the place. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, cosy and superb all round. The bar and restaurant downstairs was modern and a nice place to be and...

Anyone who knows Edinburgh will know how hard it is to get a decent cup of coffee!!. That was one of the many pleasures of the Bruntsfield, breakfast setting me up for an arduous day's work. The staff were most considerate, the room was excellent and sleeping in a four poster bed which seemed to start and finish in different...

Excellent location, wonderful staff, very well decorated and comfortable rooms and the restaurant was great value for money. Location was ideal for a short but pleasant stroll into the city centre. This hotel should definitely be on the top of your shortlist.

Stayed here for a night while on business, having stayed here before but a few years ago I knew what to expect and recommended it to my colleague who was booking. The rooms are large, clean and tidy. The bar area is modern and quirky which I like. There is also car parking which is a rarity for a hotel...

A great hotel based within easy walking distance of the centre of Edinburgh. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Free parking is great, though you may have to wait for a short while to get a space (Metered parking is available across the road and is free after 18:30hrs) All staff are friendly and happy to make your stay...

We arrived in Edinburgh by train from London and took a cab to the hotel (buses from nearby Princes Street stop almost outside the hotel). We stayed here one night in a Comfort Room. There are parking spaces but can't comment on this as it was not one of our requirements. WHAT WAS GOOD On arrival we had a very...
