A decent place to stay, despite being slightly away from the city centre. The friendly staff made check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was clean and well furnished, with the added bonus of a small kitchenette. A small private bathroom-toilet with a walk-in shower completes the offering. Small size but acceptable for a very short stay.

Im sorry to see you havent enjoyed our location as much, We believe we are right in the middle of the two "main streets" in Edinburgh which are Princess street and The Royal Mile which are only a short 5/10 minute walk from our front door. Magnificent location looking towards to Castle, very friendly staff, comfortable room and first class bed. Aldo I did not used it but Hotel has all essential kitchen facility in the apartment. Lobby area is very welcoming.

We should have been in the other apartments but, had the booking change to the Wilde apartment. The apartment is excellent and well equipped. Loved the modern feel. Have given it 5 stars because of the location, staff and how clean and inviting the room was. The only thing that we did not like in the room we had was we had to climb over each other to get into bed as this was right up against the window and you could not walk around. The window also had a light right outside and the blind did not come down, The net curtains did not stop the light. We will stay again but will request a different room

Dear GTG150, Thank-you for taking the time to review your stay at Wilde. I am delighted that a change of your other apartment plans allowed you to stay with us. It is great to see such wonderful feedback for the team and the hotel/location. I am also pleased that you got to enjoy the views of Edinburgh Castle. We have the most amazing location for this. I was sorry to hear of the issue that you experienced with the blinds, we have electric, blackout blinds in many of our rooms and they should work perfectly. I do hope that you were able to tell one of the members of the team that there was an issue as we would get this resolved for you. In regards to bed access, the studio rooms have access to beds from one side as the architects have designed each room to get the best view of the castle and the most amount of space. There are a number of rooms that we could show you as alternatives to this, to give you more space. The majority of 1 bedroom apartments and all of our 2 beds have access to the bed on both sides also, if this helps for your next visit. We do hope that you will return to Wilde again in future. Was moved from the other company site in the West End which had several problems. I highly recommend the Wilde. Part if it is a lively conversion and the apartments on the courtyard ground floor are superb. Like staying in a brand new upscale apartment. State of the art minimalist decor, walk-in shower, absolutely spotless. Will definitely use it again. Downside is only the car parking. A reduced fee stay is available in the NCP Castle Terrace next door. But as a place to stay it would be very hard to beat. Maybe a little more expensive than the west end site, but absolutely worth it. This site is extremely well managed.
