Very good hostel! The atmosphere is really nice, specially in the lounge and kitchen. The staff is friendly and helpful, the location is perfect. The kitchen is organised, big and with all the utensils to prepare any kind of meal. I was able to store...More

The place was good. Being in the middle of the city center everything was nearby. It’s an old property so you won’t find the new fancy things in there. The sitting area is small and the only place where you get decent wifi. The place...More

My partner and I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm for a couple of nights and it was great. The hostel is also right in the middle of High Street, Edinburgh's main street in old town which is the city's main tourist area. Room...More

This is a quirky and nice place to stay. This was my first hostal experience and wasn't sure what to expect, but when I got to the hostel the customer service team was very helpful and polite. Hope to use them again next year.

visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

Hi Hayley. Our breakfast is £1.90 and we do have gluten-free cereal as an option. There's a car park at the Travelodge Hotel around the corner and it is £15 for 24h. Hope this helps. Your High Street Hostel team.
