No. 16 Learmonth Terrace was recommended to us by the owner of another highly rated B&B in Edinburgh. When I contacted Joon she answered my e-mail promptly and I was immediately taken with her warmth and sincerity. When she learned that my husband and I would be touring Scotland by car, she researched driving times and e-mailed me contact names...

My vife and I planed a short holiday in Edinburgh this summer and looked at the Internet for a place to stay not too far from the city centre. No 16 learmonth terrace looked nice and the breakfast looked very inviting. It was nice. It was excellent. Very soon we felt at home. The place gave us all the comfort...

We stayed here both at the beginning and end of our honeymoon in Scotland. It was a wonderful place to start from and a pleasure to return to. I was going to write about the spacious room, the delicious and varied breakfasts, the proximity to all the attractions of Edinburgh, and most of all the very warm welcome we received...

Our stay at 16 Learnmonth Terrace in Edinburgh has been to us more similar to an invitation at friends’ house, than staying at a Bed and Breakfast. After riding through northern Scotland for 5 days, this has been the best possible way to finish our trip. The beautiful house in the residential area of Edinburgh, just across the bridge leading...

We stayed here for 10 days in June 2011. Initially, we were hesitant to stay in a B&B however, we were referred here and couldn't have been happier. Joon and Peter are exceptional hosts - knowledgeable, resourceful, kind and generous. Joon's breakfasts are hearty and tailored to your tastes and desires. We particularly enjoyed the location slightly out of the...

Arrived on a rainy night in early July to be greeted by Joon and Peter with open arms and a fabulous large cosy bedroom. After freshening up in the very smart bathroom (body shop toiletries etc), we were directed to a lovely local restaurant (la P'tite Folie) and indeed all Joon's recommendations proved a great success. The amazing breakfasts where...

My boyfriend and me stay at this wonderful place a few days. It was very comfortable. Joon cooked a GREAT breakfast every day. Orange juice, Porridge, Marmalades .. some Toast, fresh fruits. If you go to EDINBURGH -> go to: 16 Learmonth Terrace.. :) 10 Minutes to Old Town. THANK YOU!

Joon and Peter provide a haven just far enough away from the tourist hustle of Edinburgh castle. The bright bedroom is more like a small studio apartment with a comfortable sofa, fridge, stereo, snacks and drinks and even a nice glass of whisky. Everything you could possibly need, including big fluffy robes and slippers, is provided, and nothing is too...
