I stayed here overnight at the end of March 2015, and I fouled up my booking, I only found this out when I called the hotel to inform them I wouldn't be arriving until after 10pm, this wasn't a problem to them and the staff on reception were so helpful. Even when I arrived they were so helpful. The room...

Actually Nothing to complain about. Great stay, nice breakfast and friendly staff. There is a lot of eating places within walking distance and also a 24-hour tesco. Regular links to city centre and buses every 10 minutes.Honestly all the negative reviews looks a bit exaggerated. You get what you pay for.

My wife and I booked this at the last minute for a 1 night stay for the Edinburgh Playhouse and I was extremely worried after checking the reviews. At one point I thought about just not turning up because the reviews were so bad. However there was no need to worry. Our room 23 was on first floor and was...

The hotel is half way between the city and the airport. The staff were helpful and the room was clean and was refreshed daily. Breakfast was brought promptly and the selection was good for the price. The wifi was intermittent in the hotel. The location on a main road meant it was easy to get into and out of town on...

Stayed two nights and found the hotel to be adequate. Room was clean and warm. Good breakfast with good selection. Staff friendly and polite. Convenient for bus stops to airport and city centre. Agree with Margaret k`s review - you have to take price into mind when making reviews

I stayed here last night and am surprised at the negative reviews. The price, location, friendly staff were all fine. My room was a bit tired but was comfortable. I think some people don't review with the price in mind. The lounge bar was also a lovely place to go. For me it was fine and I travel a lot.

Room on 2nd floor led to by narrow spiral staircase, not good for carrying case and also for wife who has MS. Room was freezing cold as radiators didn't seem to work, all night it was bitter cold frightened to move in case covers moved. We had a standalone stained heater which took an eternity to heat. Shower head holder...

I should have read trip advisor before setting off on our trip to Edinburgh and saved myself some heart ache. I was shocked when we checked out the room and it was hideous. I then checked trip advisor and cried. We tried to get alternative accommodation but were unsuccessful. We stayed in room 7 which was vile. It was very...

I learnt a few things from our trip to Edinburgh, the main one being never to let my husband book a hotel again! Worst stay ever! We booked a double room. We had 2 small children with us. The kids seem to sleep ok. We, however, never sept a wink. The bed was the noisiest bed EVER! It sunk in...
