Such a great hotel for an overnight stay on a 2 day journey. The rooms are clean and tidy, with many complimentary toiletries and refreshments. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recently had all their rooms upgraded to central, radiator heating.

A really welcoming and comfortable experience. We arrived at 4 pm, parked right outside the front, pressed the bell and were almost immediately attended and led to our room (No 2). We were surprised to enter a large sitting room equipped with two large, adjustable sofas, a sink, fridge and large TV, all to the very latest standard. Off this...

Award winning? No! Dire? No! Average pub grub served in an old world poorly lit pub. Nothing to write home about but equally nothing to complain about either. The decor is a bit old fashioned but will appeal to just as many as it may offend! Better lighting would improve the overall look of the place.... Probably! The food could...

If there's one thing the owners need to no is to advise there staff to work with the guests or...

We have stayed here a few times in the past but this time tried out one of the cottages in the hotel courtyard, because we now have 3 small children so need 2 bedrooms. We were really impressed - there is a nice living area downstairs with kitchen, and then two good bedrooms upstairs and big bathroom. The rooms were...
