Located a few minutes off the M74, it's in the middle of the town. There's a public car park in the middle of the street outside, so we were perhaps 10 yards from the front door. (It would probably be further away in high seasons, but it's free.) The welcome was friendly, and we were taken up to our room...

We booked in for one night to attend a function in Moffat. What a lovely hotel, full of character and spotlessly clean. The food served in the bar and restaurant is of a very high standard and portion sizes are generous. The breakfast menu is extensive and beautifully presented. The staff warm and friendly. We had a bit of a...

Only called in for a drink but found a really welcoming bar with friendly staff the beer quality was very good and the food although untested looked very good. The hotel is interesting in that it is so narrow, it actually features in the Guiness Book of Records for the "worlds narrowest hotel".

We stayed here for 2 nights room is of decent size but the en suite was tiny a shower and toilet in it then the sink in the bedroom every thing was nice and clean bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was brilliant the best macaroni cheese I've had in a long time. The breakfasts were very nice...

£50 per person per night in September 2016 for an en suite bedroom including a cooked breakfast. The bar is open to 11 p.m. and seems well patronised. This is a handy stopping off place for vehicle travellers on the M74 and has a small public car park opposite the hotel. The hotel speciality are their home made pies, I...

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at nearby Auchin Castle. We stayed in the family room, which was clean, with very comfortable beds ( so much so, my wife contacted them,to find out where they got them from) Great breakfast served in the morning included. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

Booked the family room after being invited to a wedding at Auchen Castle. The staff very helpfully arranged a taxi for us to get to the Castle. We arrived back at the Hotel after midnight, but they had given us a key to the main door so we didn't have to disturb anyone else so late. The Family room itself...

Stay in a piece of Scottish history and record holder. The hotel is clean and friendly, but as its the narrowest hotel in the world do not expect large rooms. Parking is free and if your lucky you can park outside the hotel. Moffat is a bust friendly place to stay and hotels get booked up quickly when there is...

Moffatt is a very good place to stay as a halfway point if you are going to northern Scotland and it is only just off the motorway. This hotel states it is the narrowest hotel in the UK and they must be right. The building is very quirky. The parking is out on the road but we had no trouble...
