Stayed for one night with a warm Scottish welcome. Rooms were clean, showers powerful and refreshing, beds comfortable. Down a quieter street at the end of the main town of Moffat but easy walking distance. Ordering breakfast the night before for cooked items meant you were served on time. The breakfast was a full variety and there was a lounge...

Our stay at Buchan Guest House was entirely unexpected as we were booked in next door to stay at the Rockhill Guest House but due to unforseen circumstances the Buchan guesthouse owners stepped up and took over our booking, and one other, as well as their own for that night. Our experience was superb. The room was warm and clean...

We stayed at Buchan guest house for three very enjoyable nights, 23 to 26th September. Brenda & Chris are wonderful hosts – happy, helpful and friendly. Buchan House is an older property with lots of character and history. It is very clean, well decorated and comfortably furnished. Our room was of good size having a very comfortable double bed. There...

Stayed a couple of nights at the Buchan and had a lovely stay, very warm welcome and nice breakfast. Easy walking distance to Moffat centre and plenty of room for bikes, including a few tools and wash down facilities for cyclists. Would certainly stay again.

We stopped for one night on our way to Kyle of Lochalsh from the Midlands? We are delighted with this lovely guest house. Spotlessly clean and really lovely, comfortable bedrooms. The decor is not modern but very homely. Next to our bedroom was a visitors lounge, overlooking the bowling green and hills. It had plenty of comfortable chairs and some...
