I stayed here for three nights in may for work. Room was ok, usual type for holiday inn. Staff was very friendly. The grounds of the hotel are very well kept and are part of The Crighton which is now a business park, I believe formally a n asylum. One of the evenings My colleague and I went down to...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This hotel really is a little gem set in beautiful surroundings. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel are exceptional and great credit must be given to the staff. A special mention must be given to Gary and Claire who provide exceptional service to guests of all age groups and I am amazed they are not running their own hotel....

What an excellent stay we had here, an executive ground floor room, pet friendly with massive grounds outside to wander round - ideal for fergus our dog. Good food, great service, nice bar area inside and out.

The hotel is set in the Crichton Estate which is beautiful. The hotel feels like a clash in this beautiful estate as it is modern and bright blue in colour! Guess the town planners had a good debate about building it! Anyway, this hotel is perhaps in the finest location of any hotel I have stayed in in the UK....

The hotel is clean comfortable and should tick all the boxes.....BUT: On arrival revisited reception twice as door cards issued did not work. Resulted in staff visiting room blaming batteries in door lock. Day 2 realised no hairdryer in room as should have been and on depart was promised would be attended to. On return at night again cards failed...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Firstly, Hayley, the receptionist, was very welcoming and we had an efficient check in. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable, bathroom clean and everything it should be, fluffy white towels, toiletries etc. There is tea and coffee, kettle, milk, perhaps a small pack of biscuits would have been nice. Rooms with an odd number...

I would love to give this generally pleasant hotel more stars. We were with a large group and had a dinner, bed and breakfast package. Each of the dinners was good (apart from one main course of tough beef) and was served by pleasant, friendly staff some of whom are still learning the ways of serving food. The hotel is...

Ran a 4 day event here for 40 people. Hotel rooms were clean. The hotel is in a beautiful setting. Food was very good and the chef very knowledgeable. Staff were efficient and nothing was any trouble to them - would say they went above and beyond their normal duties for us. The attention to detail for our event was...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights as attending a wedding at the Crichton church. The rooms and breakfast were excellent, the rooms where clean and comfortable and the breakfast had a good choice they were able to cater for my sister in law who has celiac. We would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel in the future.

We liked this hotel in an excellent park location. Old and new building. Our room (224) was as far from reception as it was possible to walk and was very pleasant , well furnished, and with fine garden view. However the room even with window open was VERY warm, and the Air Con was clearly broken. We lost sleep for...
