When we first arrived Terry was very friendly and made you at ease straightaway. We booked 4 rooms (4 couples) couldn't fault our room-very spacious, had a double bed and one single-clean, modern. The hotel itself, had plenty of car park space, but don't park under the trees, car had a few splashes of bird muck. Terry was very well...

So glad we chose this hotel after reading the glowing reviews. They weren't wrong. Could smell the fresh cut flowers as soon as we entered this smart welcoming B&B. Our room was traditionally styled with quality furnishings. Bath/shower room was gleaming with plenty towels, bath robes and an assortment of useful toiletries. There is also an iron with table, hairdryer,...

Wonderful B&B. Friendly owners providing a superb breakfast. Good recommendation for an evening meal in Dumfries and detailed directions for onward journey (the scenic route). An excellent start to the holiday.

Terry was friendly and full of helpful suggestions on how to make the most of our trip. Breakfast was ready and waiting for us each morning. The beds could have been more comfortable, but the attention to detail and hospitality made this a good value.

This hotel looks as if it is over one hundred years old but is kept immaculately clean by the proprietors Terry and Lynne who provide a warm welcome and make you feel right at home. The town of Dumfries is a bit tired and run down and the Huntingdon House is up there with the best to offer. The lounge...

The warmest of welcomes, super rooms, lovely small touches, fantastic breakfast, I honestly could not fault anything. Lynne and Terry have got it right! I felt I was home from home - thank you so much for having us. I would...
