Another restorative visit to Broomhill House. A warm welcome (with cake!) and the comfiest bed in a calm and immaculate room made for an excellent night's sleep before the delicious breakfast in the beautiful dining room. A quick walk around the delightful walled garden in the January sunshine set us up for a happy day in the Borders. Looking forward...

We stayed for one night on our return from Northern Scotland. A lovely place to stay - wonderfully refurbished old house in lovely grounds - everything in the right style and of highest quality. Howard and Hilary made our stay such a joy from tea and cakes on our arrival, through excellent breakfast to lots of really helpful ideas for...

We visited the Scottish Borders for a cycling holiday and this B&B was the perfect base for us. The hosts were very welcoming with fresh coffee and homemade bakes. Breakfast was delicious. My husband had a full cooked breakfast while i had bacon and scrambled eggs, both cooked to perfection! Highly recommend this B&B, if we are in the area...

My father and I couldn't have been treated better by Hilary & Howard and their lovely home was beyond comfortable. We truly felt the way we imagine Scottish Royalty felt in their cozy castles. Highly recommended!

Trying to find something at late notice for a friends wedding in the area I stumbled upon this nice little B&B and I was glad I did. It was close to the evening venue and they allowed us to book in a little earlier to get rid of our bags and change quickly. The room was beautiful as was the...

We stayed for two nights during the Common Riding. Despite being slightly demanding guests (eg. getting up one morning at 3.30am, reversing into one of the plant tubs....), we were made to feel very welcome at this beautiful, classy, peaceful and interesting B&B. The breakfast was superb, the room was lovely, the bathroom was gorgeous, and the house and grounds...

We are just back from a night at Broomhill House. What a gem...a Georgian house that has been very carefully restored by Howard and Hilary. It's the perfect b&b if you like a pretty room with ornate cornices combined with a gorgeous bathroom with a roll top bath and Laura Ashley soft furnishing. The gardens are lovely too,a walled kitchen...

We stayed at Broomhill House B&B after completing the Hawick to Selkirk section of the Borders Abbeys Way and it would be just as perfect a stop-off if you were doing the reverse route. Although Broomhill House is a short distance outside Selkirk town centre, it is very close to the Borders Abbeys Way path, linked by a lovely bridle...

Our overnight stay in this delightfully gentrified 18th century farmhouse was pleasant, relaxing and perfectly hosted by Howard and Hillary. We would highly recommend Broomhill for any length of stopover in the Scottish Borders.

Howard and Hillary provided a very warm welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us and our baby girl. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was superb, the home grown fruit jam was a highlight. If you plan to stay at Broomhill House make time to tour the garden. It's very impressive!
