We enjoyed our stay at Heatherlea House Hotel. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival. We enjoyed our evening meal. You will tind that there is a good menu choice for evening meals. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. The breakfast is great with a choice of juice and cereal and a full cooked Scottish breakfast....

We stayed one night and the owner was very welcoming. We had our dog with us and we're pleased to find excellent walks near by. Our room was very comfortable although the ensuite was very small. We ate at the hotel and had an excellent homemade steak and ale pie. Plenty of car parking space. We would not hesitate to...

My wife and i were originally going to stay 2 nights but ended up staying one more as we were enjoying the place so much. the staff couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a problem. the room was great and so was the food breakfast was superb and we had dinner here 2 nights and it didn't disappoint....

Excellent freshly cooked breakfast , the owner made us feel very welcome. We would use this hotel again a bit old fashioned but this is part of its charm. We would use this hotel again it is well placed to see the Borders .

Stayed for 2 nights over New year with a party of 8. Had a great time and made to feel very welcome by the hosts Simon and Sharon. All the guests were great company and had a really good time. Breakfast was ideal with just the right amount with plenty to choose from. Filter coffee is always nice to have....

We had lovely evening meal in the bar before heading up to the room to get changed for the evening. The New Years celebrations where fantastic with pipers, live band, music, fireworks and don't forget the highland dancing dance off!!!! Went down for a late breakfast which was fantastic. Had a great Christmas meal very tasty and plenty to eat. Staff were very helpful. Hotel is in a great position. It is not on the main road. Well worth a visit any time of the year. Great if you like a walk or maybe you would like to fish on the river Ettrick or Tweed.

All you need in one place to add to a great salmon trip to the Tweed. Clean, warm, good food and a warm welcome with rod storage and drying facilities plus freezer availability if lucky enough to require it. Sharon and Simon made it a very enjoyable trip yet again Thanks Ian Pow
