I had a 1 night stay in Kingsmuir recently and loved every minute. Malcolm is the perfect host. The breakfast was also fab. Kingsmuir is also walking distance to the bars and local shops. Highly recommend. I will definitely return this year :) Thank you.

Welcomed by Malcolm who runs the show and great host the such a lot of local knowledge and advice. The breakfast was delightful and personally cooked and served and a very wide choice. Only two rooms which are suites with top class fittings and every care given with beds turned down when we arrived back after dinner. So comfortable for... More

Another fantastic stay at Kingsmuir House. It is truly hard to find anything new to say. Love the new pastries at breakfast !! and I absolutely adore Malcolm's porridge. Super comfy rooms and beds , fantastic shower , lots of lovely extras. Just superb. Of course , this time , there was the added attraction of 5 wee bundles of... More

It is always a pleasure to see returning guests and to offer improvements on our menu's. The morning pastries are a new addition which I change to provide some variety. Four little bundles of mischief have left us to experience their new adventures, they were very cute. More

We prefer the Bennington Suite, but, they're both lovely. As always, Malcolm was a great host, beds very comfortable, everywhere spotlessly clean, breakfasts some of the best we've ever had. This is a very central location - we use it as a 'stopping off' point on our way to/from the Highlands. One of the best boutique hotels we've ever stayed... More

Peebles is a great stopping off point if you are travelling from the south further up north, it breaks up the trip and the Scottish Borders has so much to offer. My breakfasts seem to be a winner, I put it down to the ingredients which are sourced locally from independent Scottish suppliers. Looking forward to welcoming you both back... More

We can only reiterate everything that has previously been said about Kingsmuir House. Absolutely 5 star accommodation! Every accolade is thoroughly deserved. We stayed 4 nights in the Bonnington Suite and then a further 2 nights in the Haystoun Suite. Even though the décor was different in each, they were both perfect in every way. Each suite had a large... More
