Saw Cullen Skink on the menu board outside the day before we visited but we were too late for lunch so made a point in being before 2 o'clock the next day. Best Cullen Skink I had tasted if back in Melrose would certainly revisit.

We stayed for one night, a last-minute decision on our journey south from Edinburgh. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was quiet, spacious immaculately clean and well maintained. Dinner in the brasserie was excellent, good quality, flavoursome and generous portions (no room for a dessert!). This was a pre ordered Christmas Lunch for our party of eight and was served in one of the private dining areas. Apart from the excellent service, the food was immaculately presented and every course was delicious

The other bathroom was excellent with a bath and separate shower. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Our dinner and breakfast were excellent, generous helpings of food and reasonably priced. We hope...

We stayed three nights on a DBB package. The hotel was centrally situated for climbing the Eildon hills and near to local attractions such as Abbotsford; Loch Skeen was a short distance away. Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was clearly well managed. The food was very good indeed, and our package allowed us to have any items on...
