Spent 3 nights in twin room en suite on first floor . Spectacular breakfasts , excellent room , big shower . On street parking just outside . Great hostess . I believe the owners have a dog but the dog was kept away from the areas used by guests . Thoroughly recommend

Great B&B which I've stayed at on two occasions over the years due to it being dog friendly, being in a great location, offering really good value for money and serving up a tremendous breakfast. Definitely recommended!

Very good quality accommodation and excellent full Scottish breakfast. Owners were very friendly too. As we were cycling, there was room to safely store our bikes. Would recommend to anyone staying in Melrose.

I stayed here for one night in September prior to starting St Cuthbert's Way. The location is very good. Very close to Melrose Abbey, close to the start of St Cuthbert's Way and close to both the South Uplands Way and the Borders Abbeys Way. Braidwood is one street back from the main street with very easy access to the...

Stayed in this beautiful little B&B for one night to attend a wedding. The staff were excellent, especially Helen. She opened the kitchen 15 minutes early so I wouldn't leave without having breakfast because my train back was very early in the morning. The room was very clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this lovely B&B for anyone looking...

We had a very comfortable night in Braidwood house. Breakfast was superb. Be aware that the steps are steep and if this is an issue for you, see if you can book the ground floor room. We were on the third level under the eaves and low ceilings but still enjoyed our spacious room. The bathroom was a large space...

We stayed here for one night at the end of May - it is a lovely little B&B, ideally located and there is on street parking and car park nearby. We were able to get into our room a little earlier than 3pm, we were welcomed by the owners sister (she was looking after the B&B for the weekend) she...

Melrose was my first stop on my first trip to Scotland, which was the first time I've traveled alone in another country as well. I'd chosen the Braidwood for my stay of two nights, 9 and 10 May 2016, based on its website, reviews, and calling the Braidwood from the States to make the booking, and I'm so happy I...
