My boyfriend and I were very pleased with this B&B: beautiful place, great location, cosy and comfortable spacious room, large en-suite toilet, amazing views of the town (we stayed in the double bedroom with sea views), and LOVELY LOVELY hosts. Sheila was so nice to us at every moment. When we arrived, she welcomed us with a cup if tea...

A perfect place to see Oban from or to start or end a trip further afield to the Western Isles. We arrived late one night having driven up Scotland and could not have asked for a warmer welcome, including tea and cake in the cosy sitting room. We only spent one night but it was just a perfect location for...

We were travelling by campervan; with occasional B&B stops. We liked the fact that Lochvoil House was convenient for the ferry as we planned to go over as foot passengers to Lismore the day following our stop. Sheila was very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her. She kindly let us leave the campervan in the driveway when we went...

Great value B&B which was clean and tidy in a very central location, within walking distance of the centre of Oban. Suited us down to the ground for our one night stay prior to catching a ferry to the Outer Hebrides. Sheila was very welcoming and accommodating with an excellent home made breakfast given our early start. I'd certainly stay...

We were warmly welcomed by Kenneth, who told us about his visit to Australia and made us feel right at home. We had a very...

We loved the Lochvoil House in Oban. Sheila and Kenneth were great hosts - they cooked a full breakfast each morning and were more than helpful with ideas for day trips. Our room was large, very clean, and extremely comfortable. I'd highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

An unexpected 2-day stop in Oban due to car trouble turned out to be a pleasure. Tourist Information at the Pier booked up Loch Voil House. We were worried we wouldn't be able to find a room as Oban was extremely busy. We had a lovely stay with genuinely friendly hosts, Sheila and Kenneth. The room was immaculate and the...
