Stayed here for two nights at the end of August. With the exception of the terrific breakfast this place was very average and not worth the price charged. The staff in the main were quite helpful especially the lady who was on reception when we arrived. The room was very basic with a postage stamp size TV which could only...

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. It is disappointing to read that you would not stay with us again. The hotel is due some refurbishment at the end of the year so i think your opinion could possibly change if you were to ever return. I must apologise for the jacuzzi bath not working, our maintenance team...

I've stayed in many Best Western Hotels over the years and have to say that the Queens in Oban is one of the worst. My first impression when checking in was that this hotel has seen better days. The furniture is old and worn. When we were navigating the halls to our room, we found the elevator so old and...

This is a lovely old hotel right on the Esplanade. We stayed in one of 2 suites which was located on the second floor. Most of the rooms are in a building at the back of the original hotel accessable by a covered walkway. These rooms don't have a view. The suite had a lovely living area with a beautiful...

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. It is very nice to read that you enjoyed staying in the suite and the scenery that these rooms provide. Unfortunately the building these are located in is a listed building which means we are unable to have a lift in this building, this is noted on all booking websites...

Stayed here one night on our holiday. The staff was great helping us carry out bags up to our room. The parking was pretty limited but the public car park isn't too far away. The breakfast was very tasty, and was well prepared. They have a nice lounge as well.

We booked a twin and a single room - the single room was quite small but just adequate. The twin room was standard size for modern hotels. Would have liked sea views but this would have cost extra. The room was spotless and had the usual tea/coffee making stuff, toiletries etc. The whirlpool bath was an unexpected extra. Note of...

This was a 2 night booking for my partner & I at quite short notice (booked just under a week in advance) so rather than book an unknown quantity B&B, I thought I'd splash out the £260 on a 4 star hotel so that we'd know it would be nice accommodation with good wifi. Wrong. How this hotel got a...

The Queen's Hotel did everything it said on the tin with the added bonus of exceptionally helpful staff who looked after our every need. What I particularly liked was the friendliness of staff all helping to promote something of a "family" feel to the place. We stayed 2 nights whilst visiting for a wedding in Oban. We were late booking so choices were limited but this hotel appeared to have some good reviews in and amongst the negative ones.
