We visited the hotel in February 2017 and on the whole had a wonderful stay. We booked two rooms and both were clean and comfortable with good views of the harbour. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming our family's card games on the mezzanine level in the bistro part. I mistakenly left my kindle in the room and...

Stayed here for just one night over the recent Easter weekend. The hotel was clean and the room that we had was very large and comfortable I did think that the hotel lacked atmosphere There was no entertainment available which i think was poor for a holiday weekend The breakfast was acceptable but the waitress could have been a bit...

The official rating of this hotel is 3 star and this is about right. The hotel is very well situated in the harbour area and is close to shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean but the bed was very soft and quite lumpy. I slept well but my wife said that she had trouble sleeping because of...

We arrived for our 3 night stay on Friday and left this morning. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff on reception who checked us in quickly and directed us to our room. Our room was on the 1st floor and was easy to get to. The room itself was clean and comfortable and was decorated to a modern...

we were on 3rd floor overlooking the harbour, so had a great view, unfortunately that is all that i can say that is positive about our 2 day stay. the room was very cold, and serviced by 2 storage heaters which radiated very little heat, which wasnt helped by the poor positioning of one of the heaters. Had to request...

Has i have problems with food due to serious illnesses 65 years ago, I always let my wife check out if they could provide food for me. It should not really be a problem as I Cannot eat Meat,Fish,Herbs,Spices,Curries or Garlic which cause Vomiting and spoil my holidays as the can last several days. Location ideal in centre of Oban, with carpark right next to it. We had a sea view room, and the view was great, over the harbour and port. Bathroom seemed newly refurbished, and was spotlessly clean. Room was freezing when we first arrived - we had to put heaters on to full blast and leave them like that. It did...

just back from a 3 night stay at the Columba hotel Oban. Excellent staff, breakfast was self service, and very good, room was well equipped, in good decorative order, only complaint was that it was a little on the small side. Did request for a larger corner (turret) room, which are the best but was not offered one. overall a...

Had a "flying visit" to Oban and stayed here for 1 night. Comfy room with good view over the bay. Breakfast superb with great selectjon of cereals and of course the traditional "fry up" (not greasy !!!) The breakfast staff were so friendly and helpful which more than made up for what was a very damp and dreich Argyllshire morning....
