We were there on a weekend and the place was deserted, only us the whole weekend. Town was bustling with people and soon found out why no one chose this place. Even the check in lady was surprised when she opened the front door! No staff at this Bed, everything is done via BnB next door. Pros: Close to CBD....

Pros - Location is good, on the main road & close to town. They were able & willing to accommodate my older parents with a ground floor room, as there is no lift. Fairly quiet. Reasonably clean. Inexpensive for the location. Reliable wifi. Cons - Upon check-in, the staff person who greeted us seemed unhappy that we were disrupting her,...

we booked a room for £99 for one night. We had no hot water to shower in the morning. The staff were unaware as to how the shower should work. We did not have a window - only a velux skylight despite our room being described as SUPERIOR double. We know we could have got a much better deal in...

No parking. Not even a good place to load/unload. Room was small & hot. Full size bed was old spring bed that was about 10" off the floor when you are in it and took up most of the room. Suitcases had to lay on the floor and were in the way. Bathroom was remodeled but very small shower (don't...

Arrived in Oban on the 1/8/2016 found guest house no problem. We had to go next door to check in but there was no one around for us to check in even tho we gave a time of arrival apart from an older gentleman who went in search of someone for us. Checked in to be told breakfast wasn't included...

Though we arrived in Oban without any reservations, thanks to a rare vacancy and friendly phone call from another guest house, we got to spend two peaceful nights in a lovely room on the third floor. The private bathroom was huge and beautifully refinished--seriously the best shower we had in our two week holiday. We could see the Isle of...

Booked the guest house next door (St.Anne's) but got put in here. Had to pay up front and i can see why. The owner was pleasant, as were the staff, the accomodation very basic and i would suggest overpriced by £15 considering breakfast was an additional £10 per person per night. The issue we had was poorly insulated rooms and...

You get what you pay for I think. The woman running the B (you can't really call it a B&B as breakfast isn't included) was really friendly but it isn't the nicest place. Very basic, shared bathroom (think - student dorms), bed was comfortable but there was nothing special. Needs a bit of TLC this place I think, when I...

My daughter in law and 3 granddaughters were looking so forward to a girlie weekend away. I book through booking.com all the time and I have never had an issue with any of the bookings. We arrived at 3.30pm and I called the number of the contact person of the bed and breakfast to see if we could get in...

We arrived after 4pm to check in and had to go next door. Had to ask for a receipt and was given a hand written one on a piece of paper that anyone can write. Got shown to our room, and left for our meeting straight away, not returning until late In the evening. The bathroom was refurbished but not...
