I stayed here with a friend for two nights. Simply put, Raniven Guest house is an excellent place to stay. Moira and Stuart are warm and welcoming. The room was very clean, with lovely decor. The breakfast was the best we had during our travels, we liked the continental-help-yourself-set-up. Oban is a beautiful town, well worth a stop over.

A great location for your visit to Oban. Clean and well equipped. Buffet breakfast is very good too. It has its own parking. So nice restaurants near by too. Would recommend this b&b for your visit. The owner is very nice and polite without being pushy.

Lovely friendly, kind and helpful people - nothing was too much trouble, and their local knowledge and tips were extremely enjoyable! Very clean and comfortable room (Room 5). Tasty, well-prepared buffet breakfast, with a wide selection.

Breakfast is serve yourself, with a varied array of cold and hot food. Our hostess was pleasant and helpful and made some excellent suggestions...

Our family stayed here for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) We had 2 rooms, #1 and #3. Both were very comfortable, clean and bright and rooms looked fresh and new. Room #1 wasn't as large as room #3 but had a larger bathroom with tub/shower combo and a skylight. Room #3 was a large room with a sofa and a...

This was our second stay at the Raniven guest house which says it all, great situation with a 5 min walk into Oban and has its own off street parking which I would imagine in high season is a great bonus. The guest house its self is lovely and fresh with spacious rooms and comfy beds which does for me....
