We stayed at The George for four nights and enjoyed everything about it. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly without being intrusive, a perfect combination! The hotel is full of character and charm, our room was beautiful, extremely comfortable and cleaned to a high standard daily. Nothing was too much trouble for any one of the staff with whatever...

The food is renowned and we weren't disappointed a lovely meal which was very reasonably priced. The toilets are very clean and have...

Only had drinks in here as we were staying at another hotel but what we saw of the food it looked fab. Lovely open fire and ceilings covered in fairy lights made for a most welcoming atmosphere. Chatty staff and a great selection of drinks completed the place.
